Hi friend – I need your help. I want CalmHealthySexy to provide the very best ideas for your life and marriage, the kinds of tips, ideas, and information you really need – plus resources that can help you solve solve problems and make your life a little bit easier. But I really need to hear from you. What topics interest you the most (and which ones don’t interest you at all)? What problems do you want to solve right now? And what would help you – as a super-busy married woman – live a little bit calmer, healthier or sexier?
Would you take a minute or two and fill out this simple 4-question survey? I would really appreciate it, and your responses will help me know what topics to cover here and how to best help you live the life you really want. If you want to leave longer responses to any of the questions, I’d love to read them. And if you want me to respond to you, just include your email address. Thanks so much!

I totally agree with you. Balancing life is hard. It has been two year since I found one of my best friends dead in her apt. I had been her friend for over 20 years. I never had any type of closure. I could not go to her funeral. I find myself crying all the time. Days I find myself lost. How do you move on? Tried talking to my husband, no support there. Don’t have money to get go a shrink. Any suggestions?

Hi Nancy – I am so very sorry. That is such a painful loss, and the fact that you have not found any type of closure makes it even more painful. Are there any free or low-cost counseling services available in your community? Are there any grief support groups? My church has been promoting a group called Grief Share that meets at several churches in our area. The cost is minimal – $15-20 for an 8- to 10-week program. Perhaps that group or a similar one operates in your area? Also, I have heard, but have never checked it out, that Focus on the Family offers some counseling assistance by phone.
I pray that you’ll be able to find the help and support you need and deserve.
