Are you a married woman? Do you want to enjoy or improve sex and intimacy in your marriage? Are you looking for ideas that can make sex more fun? Do you sometimes have questions about sex, but aren’t sure where to find answers? Or do you sometimes have questions that you’d rather not Google?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, I want to make sure that you know about Sex Chat for Christian Wives, a podcast about sex for married women. It’s a joint venture created by four Christian marriage bloggers – Bonny of Oyster Bed 7, Chris of The Forgiven Wife, J of Hot, Holy and Humorous and me. (Yes, I’m actually out in public, on a podcast, talking about sex. Kind of unbelievable – but true!)
If you’ve never listened to it, let me tell you what it’s like in one sentence – Four friends, sitting around a kitchen table, laughing (and occasionally crying), and talking about just about anything that will encourage women in their marriages – and doing so from a Christian point of view. (But, honestly, if you’re a married woman, we have stuff for you, whether you’re a Christian or not.)
And we’re celebrating our first anniversary on February 14. Despite the fact that none of us knew anything about podcasting, our complete lack of technical knowledge, and the slight complication that we live in four different parts of the U.S., we’ve managed to put out 26 episodes this year – one every other week. Some of the topics we’ve covered include:
- Women’s sexual response
- Initiating sex
- Sexual harassment
- Talking with your kids about sex (with guest Sheila Wray Gregoire)
- Body image
- Mismatched sex drives
- Listener questions
We’ve also laughed a lot and said a few embarrassing things! (But don’t worry – we’re tasteful!)
So if you’re a married woman who wants tips, ideas or information about improving sex in her marriage, I’d love for you to check us out. You can find us on iTunes, Stitcher and iHeart Radio, and we link to all of those places from our website – Sex Chat for Christian Wives. You can also listen to all of the episodes right on the website, which also provides links to more information and resources on each topic.
